Best Merzouga 4x4 Excursion Experience

We invite you to explore the majestic desert of Erg Chebbi through our popular Merzouga 4×4 excursion. You will learn about the traditional system of irrigation that has been sourcing water to the locals and to the oasis for many years. This sophisticated system is called “Khettaras”, which consists of conveying water from a long distance through a chain of inter-connected wells with an underground channel.

Cross Merzouga before getting to the Khamlia Village that is resided by Africans brought as slaves from Sudan. They are known for the “Gnawa Music” they perform to visitors using drums and castanets. Later, we will have a complete tour around the sand dunes that offer stunning views. Stop by a local mine before getting to the nomads where we will learn about their unique style of life.
